Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944) heeft mijn grootste bewondering voor zijn artistieke consequentheid, maar met zijn conclusie kan ik het niet eens zijn. Uiterlijk is zijn werkelijkheid abstract, plat, en behalve zwart-wit uitsluitend primair van kleur. In mijn realiteit ga ik daar, samen met het blikje en een flesje, duchtig mee aan de haal.

I greatly admire Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944) for his artistic consistency, but I cannot agree with his conclusion. In appearance his reality is abstract and flat, and it consists, besides of black and white, only of primary colours. In my reality I, together with the can and the bottle, dramatically run off with this.

Für die künstlerische Konsequenz von Piet Mondriaan (872-1994) habe ich die größte Bewunderung, aber seine Stellungnahme kann ich nicht teilen. Äußerlich ist seine Realität abstrakt, flach und außer schwarz-weiß, ausschließlich in Primärfarben. In meiner eigenen Wirklichkeit nehme ich Rache, zusammen mit der Dose und einer Flasche.
